Amber Vlietstra
CONTENT SPECIALIST
Amber earned her B.A. in Psychology and English Writing at Cornerstone University and her M.A. in Clinical and Community Counseling from Eastern University near Philadelphia, working for years as an adjunct professor teaching College Composition. She brings her layered experience to her role as Content Specialist here at Revel.
Amber’s love for storytelling has rooted her in her work as a therapist, blogger, teacher, and copywriter. In her mind, each role has been an opportunity to help people find the words they couldn’t find on their own.
In her role as Content Specialist, Amber’s responsibilities include client social media management; copywriting (including brand positioning, product copy, blogs, and news releases); research; and collaborating with the Revel design team to develop compelling marketing copy and concepts. She is, essentially, writing all day, every day. It’s her dream job.
When she’s not at her computer drafting and editing, Amber can be found with her nose in a book or watching baseball and exploring Michigan’s breweries with her husband, Nick, and their golden retriever, Teddy. They have a cat too, but she doesn’t travel well.
