The Lakeshore Museum Center
Branding & Voice Identity

0%
INCREASE IN ONLINE DONATIONS

The Problem

The Lakeshore Museum Center in Muskegon was struggling to build community awareness and eliminate confusion about the multiple sites that make up the museum center as a whole. As they are largely millage funded, these goals became particularly important to them in 2020 when their millage was up for renewal.

Our Solution

We refreshed their brand look and feel and created a new attitude for the museum with a campaign that focused on all the things that museums make you: adventurous, smart, wonder, imagine, inspired, and more. We also used innovative marketing tactics and media placement to spend marketing dollars in the most effective ways, spreading awareness of the museum and all it has to offer, and promoting various programs and events.

The Results

In the time since the brand refresh, the Lakeshore Museum Center has seen a 21.5% increase in traffic to their website, as well as 196% increase in online donations. The identity of each site of the Lakeshore Museum Center is clearer and community awareness continues to grow. To see the brand refresh for yourself, visit lakeshoremuseum.org.
