Soils and Structures had a great reputation for quality work before we began working together. That’s branding you can’t buy. When looking to update the look of the logo, we wanted to incorporate their exisiting colors as well as represent who they are and what they do. This logo does that by incorporating two core sample tubes (which is what they test stuff) in their brand colors. The position of the tubes forms the letter “S.” The result is a simple, clean, professional, and timeless logo mark.
After their first website with us was a success, they decided to do it again a few years later. The focus for this second edition was on creating a mobile responsive site that was prepared for any screen size. In addition, we used applied modern user experience practices to make the information easy to find. We’re always a sucker for great photos, so we decided to use some giant screen-filling photos to visually tell Soils and Structures’ story.
A good logo needs a place to sit. We carried their new logo across their stationery to unify their look and solidify the brand. If you see one of these fancy things in the mail, then you’re welcome.
